For the first time we are listing an antique item of fishing equipment. The quality of construction of this reel is excellent as is the condition of the wood. Built in Australia in about the 1920's with a very clever way of making casting trouble free - well as trouble free as it can be. The experience here is with fly fishing but the Otago Harbour is a mere 5 minutes from home and wild salmon do swim down to the steamer basin during a couple of months of the year - so if the reel doesn't sell it may be purchased and used.
It may have been mentioned that things are slow with people discovering the website and it has been pointed out that having a .com suffix has compounded the issue.
