Attractive moulded glass oil/vinegar dispenser

Attractive moulded glass oil/vinegar dispenser

SKU: 2720420

Auld Curiosities is pleased to offer this oil/vinegar dispenser, suitable for the dining table, for your perusal. Made of moulded glass the body of the dispenser has a hobnail type diamond pattern on the lower quarter, a larger diamond patter on the next quarter and a vertical scoop pattern for the third quarter before smoothing to the neck and slightly flared rim. Both the inner neck surface and the stopper have been ground for a good friction fit, but this combination of neck and stopper are much more than they first appear. The stopper has two opposed grooved indents which can be turned to match similar grooves in the neck of the dispenser allowing a controlled flow of the liquid content out the opposed beak shaped protrusions when the dispenser is inverted. The dispenser stands 4 ½” (115mm) tall to the top of the stopper. No damage seen other than a small flick on the lowest inner edge of the stopper.

  • Covid 19

Covid 19 may continue to ravage world-wide but Dunedin City and indeed Otago in New Zealand remains free of both the Delta and Omicron variants. However, today saw the Government react (perhaps sluggishly) to the Omicron variant leaking through the border controls that were in place. There is now active cases in both the North Island and the top of the South Island. While Dunedin remains free of the virus, it seems likely that we may face this challenge in the next couple of weeks. As always, Auld Curiosities will endeavour to ensure that any of items being stored and/or dispatched will present minimal risk to others.

  • Returns

If for any reason you find an item does not match the description (written or photographic) please contact Auld Curiosities by email within 7 days of the item arriving, to arrange return and refund.

  • Packaging and Postage

With every item we sell, it is our intention to take every possible care to have it delivered to you in the same condition as when it left our premises. For this reason, packaging is tailored to each item and provides the maximum protection that we consider the item requires. Any item that arrives in a damaged condition should be referred to your postal service in the first instance for assessment of their handling of the package. If satisfaction is still lacking then we will look to see whether our efforts have been inadequate for fair handling of an item and if it is found to be so we will refund the cost of the item. Postage has now become a major cost in ecommerce so we try to strike a balance that will not unduly add excessive cost to your purchase.
