Enots Autoram Grease applicator
This is the first of two model 3177 Enots Autoram grease guns, which were manufactured by Benton and Stone (Enots is Stone in reverse). This is a company which started in 1814 and by around 1900 they were producing grease guns and oilers for Raleigh bicycles, BSA motor bikes and progressed to where their brass bodied Autoram grease guns formed part of many classic car tool kits, including Rolls Royce, Bentley and Austin.
Manufactured in England this solid brass ‘gun’ is stamped as model 3177 The screw mechanism that would advance grease toward the nipple moves freely and is offered with a relatively empty grease chamber. As photographed, the ‘Autoram’ measures 12 ¼” (315mm) in length (with the lower tube extended) and shows body wear commensurate with age and previous use. Postage will be determined at point of sale and is a cost to the buyer. We determine costs to each item as opposed to having regional postage charges to ensure that our charges are accurate and fair. PLEASE DO NOT BUY AN ITEM WITHOUT ESTABLISHING THE POSTAGE CHARGE TO BE ADDED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE

Packaging and postage.
With every item we sell, it is our intention to take every possible care to have it delivered to you in the same condition as when it left our premises. For this reason, packaging is tailored to each item and provides the maximum protection that we consider the item requires. Any item that arrives in a damaged condition should be referred to your postal service in the first instance for assessment of their handling of the package. If satisfaction is still lacking then we will look to see whether our efforts have been inadequate for fair handling of an item and if it is found to be so we will refund the cost of the item. Postage has now become a major cost in ecommerce so we try to strike a balance that will not unduly add excessive cost to your purchase.
