Vintage Kopil Rangefinder Model III
Cased in a soft leather, this vintage rangefinder appears to be in accurate working condition. The range runs between 2.5ft (76cm) to infinity. Made by the Japanese company Kobayashi Seiki Seisakusho (Kobayashi Precision Works) the rangefinder dates to about 1955. The leather case is showing wear and at present the zip is not stitched well on one side (this will be addressed if required by the potential buyer. New Zealand has a great history in photography and this vintage rangefinder, along with many other vintage photography items, has been an integral part of some keen photographers kit in the past. The unit measure 3 3/8” (86mm) wide, a maximum of 1” (26mm) deep and a maximum of 1 1/8” (29mm) tall including the shoe. Postage will be determined at point of sale and is a cost to the buyer.
