Pearline Glass creamer and bowl by Geo. Davidson & Co 1896
George Davidson and Company registered this design on the 2nd October 1896 and marketed the glass type under the name ‘Pearline’ There were many different patterns and this one, offered by Auld Curiosities, was called ‘Lords and Ladies’. The creamer and matching small bowl are beautiful eye-catching examples of Victorian glass and they are presented in excellent condition to say the least. The bowl is 6 7/8” (174mm) long by 5 3/*” (137mm) wide and a maximum of 1 ¼” (32mm) tall. The creamer stands 3” (76mm) tall with a rim diameter of 2 11/16” (68mm) and a maximum width (pourer to handle) of 4 ¼” (108mm).

Packaging and Postage
With every item we sell, it is our intention to take every possible care to have it delivered to you in the same condition as when it left our premises. For this reason, packaging is tailored to each item and provides the maximum protection that we consider the item requires. Any item that arrives in a damaged condition should be referred to your postal service in the first instance for assessment of their handling of the package. If satisfaction is still lacking then we will look to see whether our efforts have been inadequate for fair handling of an item and if it is found to be so we will refund the cost of the item. Postage has now become a major cost in ecommerce so we try to strike a balance that will not unduly add excessive cost to your purchase.
It has now been over a year since there has been issue with Covid 19 transmission within the Otago community. While there were recent cases of the Delta variant in the North Island of New Zealand (Auckland and Wellington) within the last month, that is considerable distance from our base here in Dunedin. None the less all our valued customers should be reassured that we are still taking every precaution to ensure that any item purchased leave here free of any health risk to the recipient The New Zealand Government advises that we are on track with our immunisation program and every citizen over the age of 12 should have had the opportunity to be vaccinated before the end of the year. Auld Curiosities staff are inoculated against Covid 19 and practice excellent hygiene handling for all products.
