Arts and Crafts decorative copper trough by D.M. Co.

This is one of the best small examples of the Art and Crafts expression as interpreted by copper ornament that I have recently seen. As I usually do, I have attempted to research the manufacturer from the makers stamp a firm DM & Co. It has unfortunately been impossible to track this firm down, even “oldcopper.com” only narrow it down to either an Australian or USA firm. The style is very much arts and crafts, so there is an artistic blend with elements of both art nouveau and art deco. The trough is 223mm long from handle tip to handle tip and has a maximum height of 85mm.
