Pair of hand carved Black Walnut panels used on fireplace pilasters. or similar

These have sat in our cupboard for the last couple of decades, while I always told myself I would find the perfect piece, such as fire-place pilasters, to mount them on. Now my drive is to move them on to someone who will actually use them. Following a conversation with an arborist I am reasonably confident of identifying the wood as Black Walnut, which fits with the leaves and 'nut' theme of the carving. The panels are approximately 270mm in length with a maximum width of 125mm. The ‘nuts’ or seeds give an approximate maximum depth of 45mm for the larger top nut/seed.
