Post WW2 Lawn Bowls Association badge

This Lawn Bowling Assoc. badge celebrates the British Columbia tour of New Zealand and Australia of 1947 / 48. The badge is extremely well enamelled and the design eye-catching, manufactured by H.W. Miller Ltd of Branston (now Branstone) Street, Birmingham 18. Simple C clasp and the remains of a safety chain on the back. The badge is 38mm deep and 26mm in breadth. Coming straight after WW2, there would have been considerable camaraderiebetween all players during this tour, given the close fighting relationship that the 3 vountriues shared. This is a pre-owned item being sold in original condition.
