Vintage Celtic designed pendant necklace from the isle of Iona

Sterling silver pendant and fixed point chain marked as being from Iona – a small island of the west coast of Scotland, credited with the birth of Christianity in Scotland nearly 1500 years ago. This is a beautifully crafted piece of silver, unfortunately the makers backstamp has worn past the point of being decipherable so unable to acknowledged. The solid pendant measures 56mm from point to point and the total length of chin and pendant is 448mm. The chain is new -replaced by a talented manufacturing jeweller, because the previous setting was broken when it came to me.
