Pin Cushion in the form of a ladies ‘Mary Jane’ style shoe with Louis heel

An attractive white metal ‘shoe’ with a velvet pin cushion above the four button vamp. While this style of shoe dates back to the 1850’s – 1920’s and I don’t think we can assume the pin cushion is of equal age. However, I believe the metal to be pewter, which has had a polished silver coating, now worn away in quite a few places, so perhaps early 20th century. The ‘shoe’ measures 102mm in length and stands a maximum of 58mm tall. As photographs form an important part of the description, happy to provide additional images if requested.
