227 year old Sterling Silver tablespoon by Solomon Hougham of London.

Auld Curiosities offers this 1798 assayed sterling silver spoon with the makers mark for Solomon Hougham (1746 – 1818) of 137 Aldersgate Street, London. He worked in partnership with his brother Charles and by all accounts their work was held in high regard. The spoon has been engraved by a previous owner with the letter B above S*A by the terminal and on the underside with JNB above the assay marks and an upside down makers mark. The spoon measures 215mm long and has a weight of 54.2grams.
