Stylish art deco cat on a toilet seat, cigarette holder and ashtray

For the lovers of art deco, it is perhaps the unexpected, the interpretation, the colour palette and the fun which brings the genre all together. It is with this in mind that we are pleased to bring this offering before you a cigarette/ashtray created in the form of a cat with arched back, standing on top of what appears to be a toilet seat. In bright orange and black, the cat form is a perfect counterpoint to the white of the interior surface of the (?) toilet bowl. Even the all-seeing internet is struggles to come up with a clear identification of who made this piece (other than it being German but there is cpmmon agree ment that is a cigarette holder / ashtray as impractical as that seems. Regardless case it works as a great piece to display within a collection. The piece stands 92.5mm to the top of the cat’s tail and 82mm wide and 72mm in depth
