Aynsley fine bone china trio

NZ$55.00

Auld Curiosities is pleased to offer a trio by the British firm of Aynsley who were renowned for their bone china, giftware etc. Founded by John Aynsley in 1775, the business started in Lane End Staffordshire. This trio is by no means as old as that but the backstamp was in use between 1934 and 1950 and the pattern number narrows the date down to about 1938. The sandwich plate has a diameter of 6 5/16” (160mm), the saucer a diameter of 5 11/16” (145mm) and the cup stands 2 1/8” (54mm) tall. The grey banding nicely compliments the cream ground and serves to highlight the colour of the floral decoration. Condition is excellent.

As photographs form an important part of the description, happy to provide additional images if requested. Please also take the time to check out our eclectic range of items being offered.
