4 heavy glass and metal lidded containers for the dressing table

Auld Curiosities is pleased to offer a selection of four cut glass containers with matching machine engraved metal tops for your consideration. This is perhaps a part set for personal cares but none the less offers a good variety of size and shape. The glass bases are well cut with a 16 point star cut into the base of each. The metal tops do not carry any hallmarking so the value lies in the machine turned decoration which surrounds a closed belt circlet which in turn surrounds a blank circle perhaps awaiting initials. The small circular container has a diameter of 1 ½” (38mm), the large 3” (76mm). The longest rectangular container measures 6 15/16” (173mm) by 1 ½” (38mm) and the other 3 7/16” (88mm) by 2 1/8” (54mm). All four containers stand approximately 1 ½” (38mm) tall and are offered in excellent condition for pre-owned/pre-used items.
