Small Webb Corbett water / cream jug in their famous 'Georgian' pattern

Auld Curiosities has been slowly working through a small collection of Webb Corbett crystal and tonight would like to add this attractive and useful crystal jug to the inventory. This is a very solid feeling piece of crystal, expertly fashioned and cut. The capacity of the jug is 17 fluid ounces (500mls) when filled to the cut crystal ovoids, about ¾” (20mm) below the rim or 600mls when taken closer to the rim. This style of jug was made as a water jug, suitable for the bar top. The acid etch on the base is clear and includes the number 66, indicating (I believe) the year of manufacture, in this case 1966. The jug stands 5 1/8” (130mm) tall and although pre-owned, the condition is excellent.
