his medal is offered In the original protective case supplied by the manufacturer

  • The Bar is marked with the word CENTENNIAL at the top.
  • The Ribbon: A deep blue ceremonial ribbon featuring a small gold fern leaf emblem with the letters N-Z in the centre.
  • The Medallion: Commemorates the centenary of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand with the dates 1890–1989 or 1890–1990 inscribed at the bottom. It features intricate Masonic heraldic symbols and crests.
  • The Case houses the medal in a custom black bifold protective travel wallet with snap closures. The fern leaf pin on the ribbon represents the distinct national identity of the New Zealand jurisdiction, differentiating it from the historical United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) or Scottish constitutions that operated early lodges across the country before the sovereign grand lodge was formed in 1890.
