Miniature T & A.V.R Efficiency Medal 1969 - 82

It is the policy of Auld Curiosities to offer items for sale, here in New Zealand first, before listing on our website for international buyers. Prices on that website are generally a little higher, to reflect added time spent in listing etc. This miniature ‘Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve’ was only issued during the 13year period indicated by the above date. Prior to (I think), and after those dates, it reverted to the ‘Territorial Efficiency Medal’. The obverse has an effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth with Elizabeth II : D : G : BR : OMN : REGINA : F : D around the border. The reverse is plain, with the legend "For Efficient Service". This miniature medal is 18mm wide and 29mm deep top to bottom and including the suspension bar. The ribbon: 15mm wide, the ribbon is 6mm green and 6mm blue with 1.5mm yellow stripes at each edge.
