Royal New Zealand Returned and Services' Association, Women’s Section badge no:11253.

The Women’s Section was recognised in 1919, just three years after the RSA was started in Hokitika. It is difficult to date the badge exactly but the style, use of silver for the body and the pin style, suggest 1950 or earlier. I believe that membership badge numbers now exceed 60,000. The badge is suitable for lapel or similar and measures13mm deep and 25mm wide. It weighs 3.44gms
